Second Chance School of Samos
The Second Chance School of Samos is located on a remote island, far from the mainland. It is an island of natural beauty with a long history and a thriving tourist industry in the summer months. It is also a gateway for immigrants and refugees from neighboring countries. These new arrivals must integrate into Greek society and its educational system.
The Second Chance School of Samos provides adult learners with the opportunity to obtain a qualification equivalent to a secondary school diploma.
The program focuses on developing basic skills and personal abilities. It takes into account the social reality that adult learners experience daily, as well as their individual characteristics. Their experiences in their environment are an important asset that is utilized in the learning process. The school's flexible curriculum combines formal, non-formal and informal learning methods to impart basic knowledge and skills.
